How Does the Volbella® Treatment Work?
Juvederm Volbella® is an injectable dermal filler made up of a solution of Hyaluronic Acid, a chemical already naturally found in the epidermis. A mild numbing agent or anesthetic may be used to numb the area of treatment prior to the injection. On average, the treatment takes roughly an hour to be completed and afterwards patients are free to go about their business of the day. It is typically advised that patients avoid the sun, strenuous movement, and applying make up for the day immediately following the treatment, but we will discuss all post-treatment instructions at our Waltham office.
